Seed has created an online cooking video for Preston’s Master Butchers. It is called Preston’s Kitchen and features Mother and Daughter Anne and Kate as they take you through how they roast a Pirinoa Station Leg of Lamb for the family. It also features several extra recipes for various side dishes. It was created to give the customers of Preston’s Master Butchers ideas on how to cook the meat they buy and also to show that Preston’s is a family orientated company. We filmed Anne and Kate creating each dish and got them to explain each step as they were creating it. We then split the video into small segments for each dish.

Seed has created a 15 second and 30 second Television Commercial for Preston’s Master Butchers. This was to advertise their premium Pirinoa Station Lamb range which is exclusive to the butchery. We filmed a short cooking show using our HD cameras featuring daughter and mother Kate and Anne. They show how they cook a Pirinioa Station Roast Lamb for the family and also feature several of their own extra recipes. We kept with the family theme which runs through Preston’s Master Butchery and also showed the viewer how to cook the meat they buy.

Parker Ferguson Furniture TV Commercial

Seed Films Wellington has created a 30 second and 15 second Television Commercial for Wellington Furniture Store Parker Ferguson Furniture. Parker Ferguson deal in high-end, quality furniture which lasts. To show this Seed has created a TV Commercial featuring a real customer called Chris. This involved an interview and filming around his home (which has recently won home of the year in their category). To show the quality and range they stock we filmed on our HD cameras their showroom store in Wellington focusing on detail.

Chris has being a customer of Parker Ferguson for a long time and most of his home is fitted with their furniture. The Furniture features in many rooms from Bedrooms, Kitchens to dining and living rooms. Each room feels like it has new furniture, however much of the furniture is over 5 years old. This is the difference Chris believes exists between high quality furniture and cheaper, less quality furniture. He doesn’t believe in buying furniture which may cost less however doesn’t last more than just a few years, in the end you are paying more when you need to buy another lounge suite. Chris loves the job Parker Ferguson has done for his home, it’s a home he is proud to come home to.

Fat Chance Television Commercial

Seed films has created a 15 second Television Commercial for a weight loss work book called Fat Chance. Fat Chance is a revolutionary new 12-week holistic programme of daily personal reflection and change for healthy and sustainable weight-loss for people.

Its aim is to change the way people think, their habits and lifestyle in a good healthy way forever. A big issue with overweight people is reducing their feeling of hunger and to make a line between emotional hunger and real hunger. It shows new slim habits, how to eat better and provides advice.

The book is in a journal form so you can track your progress and work through the book day by day which is a big point of difference from traditional weight loss books.

Fat Chance is not a diet, instead it uses psychology, improves nutrition, changes habits and increases activity to change the way people think about themselves.

We filmed this Television Commercial with a mixture of live action HD filming and 3D animation. Fat Chance uses a tape measure in much of it’s branding so we focused on using the colours and tape measure throughout the Television Commercial. We showed a lady ordering Fat Chance online through their website, all filmed in HD on our tracking system.

We created a 3D animation showing the tape measure coming off the Fat Chance book to give the viewer a feeling of opening and unwrapping a new lifestyle change, to show that this book can change you. This was created in our 3D program using High Resolution scanned textures of the book and tape measure. We added lighting and passes to give it a more realistic look.

A big part of the Television Commercial was to show that this was actually a work book. We covered this with a few tracking HD shots of the lady working through some of the pages. The voice over then ties it all together.

Creative Curtains Wellington Television Commercial

Seed Films Wellington has produced a 30 second and 15 second Television Commercial for Wellington Curtain Maker Creative Curtains. Creative Curtains are located just off the highway near Dress Smart in Tawa. They provide soft furnishing solutions tailor made to their client needs and they have their our own factory on site. They have a large range of various fabrics and accessories onsite and use their factory for custom builds. They offer a free measure and consulting and various on-going specials.

We filmed Creative Curtains TV Commercial using live action HD Filming showing off their showroom, factory and the production process. With a large variety of patterns and fabrics on offer we got our cameras close and took some close-up tracking shots so viewers got an idea of their range. We then filmed talent who went through the consulting process through to the factory and the final finished product. We also needed to show where they were located in relation to off the highway so we filmed a shot showing clearly where they were along the road and what their building looked like.

Shoe Clinic Television Commercial – Ally’s Story

Seed Films Wellington has created a set of Television Commercials for the Shoe Clinic featuring the 2nd “Real People Story” Winner Ally, from the Kapiti Coast. Ally had overcome serious injuries which prevented her from being able to exercise, in particular running. She got the help of her Podiatrist and the Shoe Clinic to find the right shoes for her running style. Seed filmed the Television Commercial by doing a real interview with Ally. Ally came across very natural for someone who hasn’t being in-front of a camera before and told us her story. Ally’s story is an inspiring one and she hopes to get the message out there that anything is possible with the right support. We filmed her doing her normal running routine around Queen Elizabeth Park on the Kapiti Coast and also her visiting her Podiatrist. We then filmed her going through the process she went through when selecting her shoes from the Shoe Clinic.

Gear Homestead Television Commercial

Seed Films has created a 15 second Television Commercial for function venue Gear Homestead. Gear Homestead was built in 1882 by the pioneer business magnate James Gear. It’s a historic building with large park-like grounds. From its ornately worked porches and flowing lawns, the view of Porirua’s sparkling twin harbours is breathtaking. Nestled among the rose gardens and flowering shrubs, protected from the winds by a magnificent stand of historic pines, Gear Homestead is an unforgettable picture. Gear Homestead caters for Weddings and Corporate events offering catering by Wellington Catering – Fine Touch Catering .

Seed Filmed the Television Commercial Production using our HD Cameras and tracking rig. We showed off the grounds of the main building and also an interior shot of the catering on a table. This was to give the viewer an idea of what the venue was like if they had an upcoming event. We got a perfect sunny day for filming and captured the park-like surroundings.

Shoe Clinic – Ally’s Story

Seed has created the second Story for the Shoe Clinics “real people story” Competition (found here: Shoe Clinic Real Story Competition). Ally who is from the Kapiti Coast is the winner of the second “real people story” competition created by the Shoe Clinic. Ally is a nurse and fitness is a huge stress release from her everyday work. A big part of her fitness routine was running. However Ally sustained a number of serious injuries and was told she may never run again. Her knee injuries were so bad that she would at work sit there crying from the pain. Her stress fractures meant she could no longer run and this was caused by bad shoes and posture. She went to see the podiatrist who corrected her feet with in-souls and sent her to the Shoe Clinic to get the right shoes. The Shoe Clinic assessed her running style to get the correct shoes. They went through the steps to complete the fitting process and listened to the podiatrist to decide on a suitable shoe.

She found the benefit of the Shoe Clinic was that if she had any issues with the shoes she could take them back after the 30 day guarantee they offer.

After her experience with the whole process she now knows that picking the correct shoe is more than just grabbing one off the shelf. You need to go through the process of fitting a shoe to find the correct shoe for your foot type.

Now finding the right shoe Ally runs pain free and she has been able to achieve her goals. One goal is to run a marathon which she has already planned for.

Her advice to people is if you can set your mind to it you can do it, however you need to do it safely and with the right shoes and the right support. Ally recommends Shoe Clinic to anyone who asks her about her running and which shoes to wear.

Filming of Ally’s story consisted of half a day filming the interview and half a day of cut-a-ways (the shots we place over the top of the interview). Ally’s interview is very inspiring because it was real and she was very natural in-front of the camera.
